How to Line up Decimals in a Numbered Column in Word
Posted by Patty...

Patty You want to make a list and the numbers go past nine. As soon as you hit 10 your decimals are out of whack. What to do?

Before you even start the list, make a 2-column table. The first column will be pretty narrow just to fit in your numbers and decimals. Right justify your first column. You can select that column and hit align right. It is the third square on the toolbox after the underline sign. Your decimals should all align correctly then. You can hide the border of the table so that no one will know it is there. Table >Table Properties>Borders and Shading>none
